Bukit Indah, surrounded by Horizon Hills, Perling, Nusa Bestari and Nusa Duta, has a population of over 70,000 with over 16,000 houses. Bukit Indah is fast gaining reputation as the centre of the new western Johor commercial district, in Iskandar Region.
The township draws now crowds from Singapore as well as neighbouring townships such as Taman Sutera, Tampoi Utama, Nusa Bestari and Tmn Perling, due to the existence of Tesco, Giant Hypermarket and AEON Jusco Bukit Indah Regional Shopping Centre which are located in the township.
